Is it possible to hack a Gmail acc?
Mine was hacked recently.
It was from a website...
"Team viewer"
My account was taken up by someone and also he had changed the password........
I have recovered it now...
But it was not any of our college friends who did it; it was someone from my school batch mates, with whom I am not so much in touch for the last 2-3 years.
It was someone, with the help of other two people, all from my BBSR School... I got to know it subsequently after getting back my account...
It was not due to any of my mistakes, like keeping acc logged in or by revealing password at any unwanted place...
It’s by some website or may b malware ...phishing; I believe they call it...
Account was used 4 some wrong purpose? Yes it was used for a wrong purpose--
To chat with some person-trying to seek secret information about some couple's relationship and all...the hacker had chatted from my acc posing as myself...and the other person told everything, which had to be kept secret from these people itself... There is also always a fear that the account may have been used for some other purposes too, may be illegal in nature, during that time period.
I got all evidences against the hackers (3 of them), as they have chatted among themselves in this matter and have confessed all this in their chats with each other, which got subsequently saved in the same account.... I could find it all after I recovered my email id after long hours of tension on the Google help...
I filed an FIR and after that the three confessed to me and promised never to repeat it again in future. But, still intentions can’t be guaranteed.
All three are present engineering students, one from NIT, Rourkela, others from private engineering colleges of Bhubaneswar (SOA-ITER)...
One of the three has confessed now of everything of their plans after our friends talked to him and frightened him........
But, He could just say that he didn’t do anything, though the hacking was by using the website “team viewer”...........
But still then, I m amazed how one can do it- Hacking a Gmail account...
